CloudCompute ("we", "us") is a technology services business based in Sudbury, Ontario. This policy explains what personal information we collect through cloudcomp.ca, why we collect it, and your choices. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What we collect
- Quote and contact requests: your name, email, phone number (if you give it), the service you're interested in and any details you write.
- Client accounts: if you create an account or sign in with Google, your name, email address and the orders you place with us.
- Chat: messages you send through the website chat assistant.
- Visit information: if you arrive from an advertisement or link, we record the campaign or referring website so we know which ads work. Like most websites, our servers and security providers also log basic technical data such as IP address and browser type.
How we use it
- To reply to you, prepare quotes and deliver the services you ask for.
- To manage your account, orders, billing and support.
- To keep the website and our services secure.
- To measure how well our advertising works.
We do not sell your personal information.
Service providers
We use a small number of trusted providers to run the website: Cloudflare (security and delivery), EmailJS (delivering contact form messages to our inbox), Google (optional sign-in) and Stripe (payments). If we run advertising, Google and Meta may set cookies to measure ad performance. These providers handle data under their own privacy policies and some may process it outside Canada.
Where your data is stored
Client accounts, orders and cloud computers are stored on our own servers in Sudbury, Ontario.
How long we keep it
We keep information only as long as we need it to serve you and to meet tax and legal record-keeping requirements.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep you signed in to your account. Advertising cookies, if used, help us see which ads lead to enquiries. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw consent, by emailing [email protected]. We'll respond within 30 days.
